The McCubbins Family celebrates 50 Years in Gospel music. |
| | It all began in the year of 1958. Haskell & Annette McCubbins were married on January 11th, 1958 and started on a journey that has brought them to this point in their life. It has been very meaningful and has surrounded them with so many good friends over the years. 
Haskell and Annette started singing Southern Gospel wherever the Lord led them. As the girls came along, they learned to sing and add extra parts. Jane Ann, (the oldest) was the first to learn harmony. Sherice, (the middle daughter) also learned to blend well at a very early age. Lucindy, (the youngest daughter) quickly caught on to the harmony part as well. The Lord opened a lot of doors and has brought them a long way. They have recorded several projects and have just recently recorded a brand new C.D. which will be out in late spring. This project should be ready by the, “Singin Down on the Farm”, which will be held on July 11th and 12th at the farm of Haskell & Annette. The recordings began in the basement of Duane Allen (Oak Ridge Boys lead singer) They recorded three projects there.
One was recorded at Hilltop in Nashville with Producer, Engineer, Kevin McMantus and Gordon Meadow helping with the producing and one live at the Bethlehem Bap Church and the last three with producer pianist Otis Forrest.
We are very blessed to have Annette's nephew, Paul Waddle as our sound engineer and bus driver. He is very faithful and talented.
This new project has some old songs, some originals and some fast and slow tunes that you are sure to enjoy. It was recorded in South Carolina at the home of Otis Forrest, producer, arranger, composer songwriter, engineer, and a genius in Gospel music. He is a great pianist. three time grammy nominee, Doctor of Divinity, and dove award winner. Be watching our web-site for the new project, and check out our gospel music there.
